He then allegedly jumped into the eastbound traffic and collided with 10 vehicles. The pickup truck driver and two nuns died in the crash.

The accident occurred in the early morning at approximately 3 a.m. when a BMW driver who was allegedly speeding lost control of their vehicle in the alley behind the Lowe's store on 2630 N. A Des Plaines man, 18, was charged with driving under the influence and possession of cannabis with the intent to deliver. His female companion, also 18, faces charges of cannabis possession as well as intent to deliver. Investigators found a sealed bag containing 27 grams of marijuana in the vehicle.
